Daughters of the King

Daughters of the King (DOK), St. Helena’s chapter, is a group of women who come together to intentionally pray, study and serve wherever a need occurs.  Newly received Daughters vow to do the same.  The DOK objectives are much the same as when the order was formed in 1885 by Margaret Franklin and her “Bible Class for Young Ladies,  birthed  by a  commitment to Christ and love for his church.

DOK meets every Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in Skiles Hall for prayer and Bible study, and often after the meetings, the group attends the Eucharistic service led by Fr. Allan.

Visiting Daughters, as well as those interested in becoming a Daughter, are more than welcome to attend both the meeting and the following Eucharistic service.
